Walter G. Goes born 1950 in East Germany is a contemporary German artist.
Walter G. Goes studied art education and history at the University of Leipzig.
1972 early exmatriculation and move to Glowe.
1975 to 1979 direct study of graphics at the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee
with Werner Klemke and Dieter Goltzsche.
Diploma 1979 with illustrations to poems by Georg Trakl and experimental ones
Lithographs about the landscape of the island of Rügen.
From 1979 permanent residence on Rügen. In addition to freelance work as a graphic designer,
Draftsman, painter and object artist from 1982 to 1990 and 1996 to 1997
as artistic director of the Putbus Orangery on a fee basis.
1993 to 2003 chairman of the Kunstverein Rügen and curator to this day
various exhibitions in the Vorpommern-Rügen district.
Since 2001 columnist for the OZ / local edition Rügen with literary and
artistic contributions.
Founding member of the ROTKLEE studio community in Putbus.
Continuous exhibitions there since 2014.
Member of the BBK and the Association of German Writers (VS).
2010 to 2014 artistic assistant at the KulturStiftung Rügen.
Numerous personal exhibitions & participation in exhibitions at home and abroad
